THE LAST SHADOW PUPPETS are Alex Turner (from Arctic Monkeys) and Miles Kane (from The Rascals); THE AGE OF THE UNDERSTATEMENT is an album of 12 full-blooded songs, bold and brassy, full of drama, wit and melody, recorded in France by the young duo. These songs were then boldly underscored by Owen Pallett, who conducted and recorded arrangements for each track with the 22-piece London Metropolitan Orchestra -- the result is an album that sounds classic and yet is instantly timeless.
